More Steven Curtis
Like so much of Curtis's life, his work contains many stories and metaphores which flowed when he was in reflection. Sometimes as a recluse living in the heart of Cambridge he would refuse to answer his door for caring not to be disturbed. I can picture him grimising and grumbling behind the unanswered door as he gleefully enjoyed the rejection of the outside world, and lit another cigerette and went back to his study of the artist secrets. Curtis had many ties in the conneticut river valley. His father who lived in the area was also a known artist. Steven's friend were alway aware of his where abouts and often made the extra effort to maintain contact with such a contridition in terms as was Steven Curtis.
